First, you need to be logged in as ADMINISTRATOR such that you can change the settings.


Choose menu “settings” in the left table of your home screen and click on “accounts”.

Following window will be displayed.


When the settings have been saved, click on “Diagnostic” in the left table.

Following window will be displayed.

To setup your email click on the following button.

(located at the bottom of the screen)


Following window will be displayed.


In case you need an SMTP authentication:

Here you can set the email address (next to “Email from”) which will send the remote message(s) to your specified email address (ref. user account settings).


Once email settings have been configured, reboot (power cycle) the TX box in order to accept the changed configuration.


Note: The TX – Box uses port 25 for SMTP email notification.
