Getting Started with CORE: Setup Wizard or Dashboard
When you first power up your CORE controller, you’ll see a landing page with two options:
- Run Setup Wizard
- Continue to Dashboard
1. Run Setup Wizard
- Choose this if you are commissioning a system or need to configure connected modules
- Guided, step-by-step setup using simple questions
- Requires an admin-level password (printed on a label attached to the CORE)
- If the password is missing, contact our support team at metacentre@cmcnv.com or through the support site
- We can provide the default factory password, or reset it remotely if Cloud+ connectivity is available!
Important:
The factory set admin password is identical on all CORE units. Change it immediately after first login:
- Log in with the admin account
- Open the menu (three-line icon, top left)
- Select Users
- Edit the admin@factory.com account
- Enter a new password and click Save
2. Continue to Dashboard
Choose this if you only need to view system information without making changes.
- Opens the system dashboard in view-only mode
- No login credentials required
- Useful for quick monitoring
Switching Between Wizard and Dashboard
If you start in the dashboard but need the wizard later:
- Click the circle icon (top right) to sign in with your admin account
- Open the menu (top left) and select Setup Wizard
