I'm using a Metacentre VSD Ma or Vo device to connect and control my variable speed drive air compressor to the Metacentre system controller. How do I approach this?
Thoroughly read the Metacentre VSD Ma or Vo Technical Manual before starting! Overview the generic connection diagrams contained in the Technical manual and visit the download centre to see if there's an available connection diagram for your compressor type. Establish a connection method between the Metacentre VSD ma or Vo and your variable speed drive air compressor. A Metacentre iPCB is supplied with each Metacentre VSD Ma or Vo. The purpose of the iPCB is to provide 'physical' compressor status feedback to the Metacentre VSD Ma or Vo device. Note: Connect the 'load state' signal from the air compressor with the 'ALARM' input of iPCB C04 PIN 5 & 6. As part of the Metacentre VSD Ma or Vo commissioning, pressure sensor calibration is essential! Refer to the Metacentre VSD Ma or Vo Technical manual for further information.
