I've installed and commissioned the Metacentre system controller but compressors are loading and unloading erratically. What's happening?
Metacentre system controllers load and unload a group of air compressors to maintain the configured target system pressure measured at the control pressure sensor. Site specific factors such as 'insufficient storage' or 'significant instantaneous changes in air consumption' will influence the Metacentre system controllers control strategy. To overcome the effects of site specific factors, adjustment of the Metacentre system controllers 'tolerance' and 'damping' values can be used. In extreme situations, it may be necessary to widen the Metacentre system controllers PL and PH parameters. For more information, consult the Metacentre Technical Manual.
