Preparation mainly exists of 2 parts:
• Identification of the Compressors
• Retrieval of essential Compressor specifications
It is assumed that all Asset interfaces are properly installed and that the serial Airbus485 communication between the Metacentre Core and the Asset interfaces is installed and tested.
Identification of the Compressors
Each compressor in the compressor room is assigned a unique identification number, ranging from 1 to N (where N represents the total number of compressors).
To ensure clear identification, a sheet of numbered stickers is provided, and each compressor must be labeled with one sticker in a prominently visible location.
Essential Compressor Specifications
For a proper configuration, essential data is required for each compressor.
The required data differs slightly depending on the type of compressor: Load/Unload or Variable.

Retrieving accurate and reliable data is crucial.
If the data is incorrect, all essential calculations for optimal compressor system operation will be compromised, causing the system to function improperly.
This data consists of:
• Power consumption at:
o Maximum speed operation
o Offload operation (motor running but no compressed air produced)
o Variable only: Minimum speed operation
• Air Flow (/ Capacity) at:
o Maximum speed operation
o Variable only: Minimum speed operation
While labeling the compressors, you can consult the information listed on the compressor to retrieve the required data.
