System Pressure Parameters
Minimum Pressure level alarm: A Pressure level which will trigger an alarm when the System Pressure drops below this level.
This value is stored in Table 1.
Target system pressure: The primary objective of the Metacentre Core is to control the compressor assets, ensuring that the system pressure is consistently maintained at this value, regardless of air demand.
The Unload pressure level PU as well as the Load pressure level PL are automatically calculated and stored in Table 1.
Background information: PL and PU are calculated by using a Tolerance value of 0.2 bar / 2.9 psi.
Maximum Pressure level alarm: A Pressure level which will trigger an alarm when the System Pressure goes above this level. This level should be set just below the maximum relief value and below the maximum pressure ratings of all air system components. This value remains active at all times and is independent of the Table selected.
The values between brackets “(“ and “)” indicate the range the value should reside in.
