Wizard
The wizard can be accessed from the LCD screen of the MC CORE or from a PC connected to the LAN. It is only available to users logged in as Super Admin.
The wizard provides a step-by-step guide through the Metacentre Configuration process, with each step focusing on a specific part of the configuration.
By scanning the QR codes, you can access help pages on your smartphone or tablet, offering detailed explanations of the items you need to configure.
Filling in all parameters correctly is crucial to ensure the compressor system operates at a high level of efficiency. Avoid entering data that you are not completely certain about.
At the end of the wizard you will have an operational system.
At any moment in time you can restart the wizard if you need to make adjustments to system parameters.
At the bottom of each page you get a number of buttons allowing you to step through the wizard.
For instance:
When clicking "Continue", the adaptations you made on the page will later be stored in the Metacentre Core system.
You can use "Skip" to quickly move to a next step
If you click "Abort" the wizard is stopped and you return to the Metacentre Core dashboard, nothing will be saved.
If the button "Continue" is not present, this indicates not all data is yet filled in or the Metacentre Core is still retrieving data before we can continue.
The steps you will be taking are the following:
- Preparation
A guideline indicated which data you need to be prepared and start the configuration - System parameters
Basic system information such as name of the system, date and time settings, number of compressor assets - Compressor interface settings
For every compressor asset essential performance related information is provided - Address setting
Every compressor asset receives the correct Airbus485 address - Link+ Configuration
Configuration of all Link+ compressor asset interfaces present in the system - Drive+ Configuration
Configuration of all Drive+ compressor asset interfaces present in the system - Sensor configuration
Informing the system how the sensors connected to the Metacentre Core operate - System pressure parameters
The essential System pressure parameters - Pre-Fill configuration
Provide parameters that are used at start up of the compressor system - Rotation configuration
Define if and how the Schedule Rotation mechanism is used - Control configuration
Define some operational parameters such as damping factor, alarm levels, etc - Input/output configuration
Define how Digital inputs and Digital outputs are used
